HR Setup Guide
A step-by-step walkthrough for HR admins — from a fresh tenant to your first finalised pay run. Covers departments, positions, employees, leave policies, payroll, and the go-live checklist.

- 2Setting up departments and positionsBuild the org skeleton: departments (Engineering, Sales, etc.) and positions (the budgeted seats). Both can be added before any employees.
- 3Adding your first employeesAdd one or two employees to test the full flow before bulk-importing the rest. The system creates the person and their first contract together.
- 4Configuring leave policiesMost companies need 3–4 policies: Annual leave, Sick leave, Unpaid leave, maybe Sabbatical. Plus picking the regional public-holiday calendar.
- 5Setting up payrollPay frequency, employee tax codes, pension provider, and your first pay run. Plan ~30 minutes for this step.
