HR Setup Guide

A step-by-step walkthrough for HR admins — from a fresh tenant to your first finalised pay run. Covers departments, positions, employees, leave policies, payroll, and the go-live checklist.

    Setting up departments and positions
    Build the org skeleton: departments (Engineering, Sales, etc.) and positions (the budgeted seats). Both can be added before any employees.

    Adding your first employees
    Add one or two employees to test the full flow before bulk-importing the rest. The system creates the person and their first contract together.

    Configuring leave policies
    Most companies need 3–4 policies: Annual leave, Sick leave, Unpaid leave, maybe Sabbatical. Plus picking the regional public-holiday calendar.

    Setting up payroll
    Pay frequency, employee tax codes, pension provider, and your first pay run. Plan ~30 minutes for this step.
