Welcome
This guide walks you through everything you need to do to get a brand-new Blankitt HR tenant from zero to your first finalised pay run. Expect to spend 1–2 hours depending on your team size.
What Blankitt HR gives you
A single source of truth for your team:
- People — employees, contracts, documents, org chart, signatures
- Leave — annual, sick, statutory (SMP/SPP/SPL/SAP/SSP/SBP/Carer's/Jury), team calendar, public holidays
- Payroll — UK gross-to-net engine with PAYE, NI, student loans, pension auto-enrolment, salary sacrifice, payslip PDFs, CSV exports to Xero/Sage/BrightPay
- Performance — review cycles (annual / mid-year / probation / 360°), calibration sessions, goals
- Recruitment — jobs, candidates, interviews, offers, atomic hire-to-employee flow
- Learning & Development — training records, mandatory training compliance, budgets
- Employee Relations — case log for disciplinary / grievance / PIP (legal review pending)

Before you start
Make sure you have:
- A list of your employees (name, email, start date, salary, role)
- Your tax-year payroll details (PAYE reference, accounts office reference, pension provider details)
- An approximate org chart (who reports to whom)
