How does bill OCR work?
Upload or email a bill PDF and OCR parses the headers onto a draft for operator review.

When you upload a bill PDF — either manually through the Bills page or by emailing it to your tenant's inbound alias — the file gets queued for OCR. The model reads the first page and extracts supplier name, total, bill number, issue date, due date, and VAT-related fields. The parsed values land on a draft bill, and the original PDF stays attached. You open the draft, eyeball the fields against the attachment, correct anything OCR fluffed, code the lines, and Send. Each successful capture counts against your monthly OCR allowance.
