What the Finance Team page shows

Finance shows your employees from HR — name, role, manager, salary. It's read-only there; edit anything in HR and it updates.

Where to find it

In Blankitt Finance: Settings > Team.

What you see

A list of everyone employed by your business, with:

  • Name and email
  • Job title and department
  • Manager
  • Employment type and hours
  • Gross salary (annual)
  • Status — active or terminated
  • Start date and end date

Read-only, by design

You won't find an Edit button. Clicking a row shows a "Manage in HR" link instead.

Why: managing employees in two places creates conflicts. HR is the source of truth — change something there and Finance picks it up.

What this page powers in Finance

  • Profit and loss projection — staff cost line totals annual gross + employer NI + employer pension
  • Cash flow — payroll outflow appears on each scheduled payment date
  • Expense categorisation — link expense rules to employees by department or role

Multiple companies

If you have access to more than one company, each has its own Settings > Team. They don't mix.

What if someone's missing

If you've added an employee in HR and they're not showing in Finance:

  1. Refresh the page. Most "missing" cases are just stale browser state.
  2. If still missing after a minute, double-check their status in HR — terminated employees don't appear here by default. Toggle "Show terminated" if you're trying to find one.
  3. If it's still not right, contact support.
