How do I send a contract for signing?

People > E-signatures > New envelope. Upload a PDF or use the built-in offer-letter template, add recipients (internal or external), and click Send. Recipients sign on the web.

E-sign a contract

The signature surface supports four document types:

Send for signing

  1. Open People > E-signatures.
  2. Click New envelope.
  3. Pick the source type and either fill the offer-letter form or upload your PDF.
  4. Add recipients. Each recipient has a name, email, and role: signer (must sign), approver (sign-off without signature), or cc (receives copy).
  5. Set an expiry date (default 30 days).
  6. Click Send.

Internal recipients (already linked Blankitt users) get an email with a link to sign at /me/signatures/<id>. External recipients get a magic-link to a public signing page — no account needed.

Audit trail

Every event (created, sent, viewed, signed, declined) is timestamped + IP + user-agent stamped. The final signed PDF includes an audit certificate as the last page showing the full chronology.
