What mandatory training is for

For regulated sectors (financial services, healthcare, professional services) you often need to prove employees have completed required training — cyber awareness, data protection, fire safety, anti-money-laundering, etc.

Setting it up

  1. Open Growth > Learning & Development > Mandatory training.
  2. Click Add course.
  3. Set:
    • Course name
    • Validity period — how long before re-take is required (e.g. 12 months for cyber awareness)
    • Applies to — all employees, or filtered by department or role

Recording completion

When an employee completes a course (internally or via an external provider), record it as a training record on their L&D tab:

  1. Employee detail > L&D tab > Add training record
  2. Course, completion date, expiry date (auto-calculated from validity), certificate file upload

Compliance check

The Compliance tab shows per employee:

  • Status — compliant or non-compliant
  • Missing courses — required courses with no current record
  • Expiring soon — courses about to lapse (within 30 days)

Bulk view

The HR dashboard has a "Training compliance" widget showing the company-wide percentage of compliant employees. Drill in for the non-compliant list — useful before an audit.

Coming soon

Direct integration with LMS providers (Moodle, Learnupon, etc.) — once wired, completed courses in your LMS automatically create training records here. For now, training records are added manually.
