Walk-through

  1. Growth > Recruitment > Jobs.
  2. Click New job.
  3. Fill in:

Required

  • Title — e.g. "Senior Backend Engineer"
  • Department — pick from dropdown
  • Status — usually open (the only state that accepts new candidates)
  • Position — link to an open position. When this offer is accepted, the position auto-fills.
  • Description — markdown supported; appears on the (future) public careers page
  • Salary band — min/max for the role
  • Hiring manager — defaults to the position's reports-to employee
  • Recruiter — defaults to the user who created the job
  1. Save.

Linking to a position

If the position dropdown shows no matches, either:

  • No positions exist for this role/department — go create one first
  • All positions are filled or closed — open or unfreeze one

Linking is strongly recommended so the atomic hire flow works end-to-end. Jobs without a position can still accept hires, but you'll have to manually create the employee + contract.

Status flow

openclosed (you're no longer accepting candidates; existing pipeline can continue)

You can re-open a closed job if you change your mind.

Coming soon

  • Job board integrations (LinkedIn / Indeed / Reed) — auto-post when status flips to open
  • Structured scorecards with weighted criteria
  • Calendar-integrated interview scheduling

For now, advertise the role manually and add candidates as they apply.
