Time Tracking

Use the timer, weekly grid, or entry list to log and submit hours.

What it does

The Timesheets section provides three ways to record time: a real-time timer, a weekly grid for batch entry, and a detailed entry list. Submitted entries can be approved and billed.

How to use it

  1. Go to Timesheets from the sidebar
  2. Timer tab — click Start to begin, Stop when finished. Add a description and project before saving.
  3. Weekly tab — fill in hours per day across the grid for each project.
  4. Entries tab — view or edit individual entries by clicking on them.
  5. Click Submit for Approval when entries are complete.

Tips

  • Link entries to a project so the correct hourly rate is applied automatically.
  • Use the billable flag to control which entries appear on invoices.
  • The timer runs even if you navigate away from the page.
  • Filter entries by date, project, or status (draft, submitted, approved).
  • Approved entries cannot be edited — ask the approver to return to draft if corrections are needed.
