Managing Multiple Entities

Set up and switch between separate business entities.

What it does

Multi-entity support lets you manage more than one business within a single Blankitt account. Each entity has its own chart of accounts, transactions, invoices, and reports — completely separate.

How to use it

  1. Go to the Entities page from the sidebar
  2. Click Create Entity — enter name and type (Sole Trader, Ltd, Partnership)
  3. The new entity appears in the sidebar dropdown
  4. Switch entities using the sidebar dropdown — all pages update to show that entity's data
  5. Delete a non-default entity by selecting it and clicking Delete Entity

Tips

  • A default entity is created automatically during setup.
  • Set your most-used entity as default so it loads first on login.
  • Only non-default entities can be deleted — change the default first if needed.
  • Each entity can have its own bank connections, sector template, and Companies House deadlines.
  • Switching entities does not affect data in other entities.
