Does Blankitt double-count specific and general provisions?
No — the general-provision calc nets active specific provisions out of AR before applying the bucket percentages.
No. The general-provision calculation runs across aged AR net of paid amounts AND net of active specific provisions before applying the bucket percentages. So if you've already provisioned 100% of a £10k bad debt specifically, that £10k is subtracted from gross AR before the general policy hits it — the bucket percentage applies only to the remainder. The two paths complement rather than duplicate. You don't need to manually exclude provisioned invoices from the general calc; the engine does it. The same netting applies on Recompute — moving a specific provision from provisioned to written_off shifts the calculation automatically next period.
